General qualitative requirements for Cheetah
Typical test situation:
- PC
- age PC model: younger than two years
- main memory: at least 128 MB RAM
- available local disk space: at least 100 MB
- screen resolution: at least 1024*768 pixels
- Peer network
- bandwidth: at least 128 Mbps
- latency: max 1 sec
Minimal quality requirements:
- Launching:
- Splash page displays within one second after launch
- Main window (basic/empty) displays within 3 seconds after launch
- Main window displays within 10 seconds after launch
- CPU usage
- average load max 3%
- peak loads at 100% for max 3 seconds, max one peak each 30 secs
- Network bandwidth between peers
- average max 1 kbps
- burst rate duration max 3 seconds
- max overall traffic 30 MB/month
